The Andersons Advantage: Corn Research Update

The Andersons conducts third party research trials to put our products to the test. This year the test sites were located in Ohio, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Colorado. Additionally, Beck’s Hybrids tested several of The Andersons products in their Practical Farm Research (PFR) trials, and two of our products, Diamond 6-24-6 and MicroCarb ZMB®, made their PFR Proven list this year.
In all trials, three products stood out when applied to corn: UltraMate® LQ, MicroCarb ZMB™, and Fulvic LQ™. These products delivered extraordinary results! See below for the highlights on their performance in 2017.
ULTRAMATE® LQ: This 12% liquid humic acid showed over a 10 bu/ac advantage in corn when applied 2x2 with a combo of UAN and 10-34-0 (19-17-0). In Beck’s Hybrids PFR trials, they found the average return on investment between two different sites to be $24.12 when using UltraMate LQ at sidedress with UAN.
MICROCARB ZMB™: In an Ohio trial, MicroCarb ZMB delivered over a 19 bu/ac advantage in corn when applied 2x2 with a combo of UAN and 10-34-0 (19-17-0).
FULVIC LQ™: This fulvic acid had a 10 bu/ac advantage in corn when applied with PureGrade liquid fertilizer, over a standard of a low-salt starter alone in 2016.
