Boron 10%

Boron 10% is recommended for the prevention and correction of boron deficiency in all crops and all soil types. The preferred use is soil application to prevent the deficiency, although it may also be used as a foliar for correction.

A: Boron 10% is not recommended for pop-up applications. Contact your dealer or territory manager to find out how to safely apply Boron 10%.

Q: Is the boron chelated?

A: Boron is anionic (negatively charged). Therefore, it cannot be chelated.

Q: Should I be concerned about compatibility with Boron 10%?

A: Boron should not be used in a solution where crop protection products packaged in water-soluble bags are being used. Most other fertilizer and crop protection uses should not present a compatibility issue, however, a jar test is always recommended.

Q:  Can Boron 10% be mixed with crop protection products?

A:  Yes, Boron 10% is compatible with many crop protection products as a tank mix partner. The Andersons recommend a compatibility (jar) test before field mixing and application.
