Introducing the Aerial Application Solutions Lineup
The Aerial Application Solutions lineup from The Andersons features two new products, Aero-Blitz and Aero-Mino. These products are specifically designed for aerial applications via drone, airplane, or helicopter to be applied at low use rates without sacrificing performance.
Boost crop health
Aero-Blitz and Aero-Mino deliver essential micronutrients and amino acids directly to crops during critical growth stages, improving overall plant health. Micronutrients support key physiological functions, while amino acids help plants cope with mid-season stressors such as drought or heat.
By applying these nutrients with drones, airplanes, or helicopters, growers can provide timely, targeted nutrition that enhances plant resilience and growth. This efficient method optimizes nutrient uptake, reduces soil compaction, and ensures crops receive the care they need to thrive, boosting yields and crop quality.
In a mid-season check of corn treated with Aero-Blitz at the V5 growth stage, the corn treated showed fuller, more developed ears compared to the untreated check.
Apply with variable rates
Aerial, and specifically drone applications for fertilizers, work with variable rate technology by allowing precise, real-time adjustments to the amount of fertilizer or pesticide applied in different areas of a field.
Drones equipped with sensors and other imaging tools can assess crop conditions in real-time, monitor soil health, and nutrient needs, all while generating detailed field maps. These maps guide the drone pilot to apply the exact amount of input needed in each area, avoiding over- or under-application. By targeting specific zones within the field, growers save money on input costs, reduce waste, and ensure optimal crop performance across the entire field.
Formulated for tank mixing
Specifically formulated for fewer passes across the field, Aero-Blitz and Aero-Mino are compatible with many crop protection products. Our agronomy team at The Andersons recommends completing a compatibility (jar) test before field mixing and applications. Always be sure to read and follow all individual product labels before use.
