The Andersons Launches Aero-Blitz® and Aero-Mino® Fertilizers, a New Line of Low-Use Rate Aerial Application Solutions

MAUMEE, OHIO, October 29, 2024 – The Andersons, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANDE) announces the launch of a new line of nutrients for aerial applications, Aero-Blitz® and Aero-Mino®. These products were designed by a team of precision agriculture experts to be applied at low use rates without sacrificing performance, making them perfect for drone, helicopter, and airplane applications.

The initial product release from The Andersons will include two new products. Aero-Blitz is an 11-7-4 with added micronutrients, including boron, iron, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc. Aero-Mino is an 8-0-0 with an amino acid blend to help with nutrient absorption.

“It is exciting to see results from our research trials with Aero-Blitz and Aero-Mino,” said Jessica Link, agronomist at The Andersons. “The corn treated with Aero-Blitz consistently showed larger ears with more kernel rows compared to the untreated check, demonstrating how application at key growth stages can significantly enhance yield.

“Similarly, the Aero-Mino treatment in soybeans led to a higher pod count and more uniform growth, which is crucial for optimizing production. These results highlight the value of targeted nutrient applications via drone technology, enabling growers to maximize their crop potential while minimizing inputs and field traffic,” Link continued.
