PFR Proven™: Diamond 6-24-6 & First Pass® with MicroCarb®

Two of The Andersons products achieved a significant milestone this year, earning the status of “PFR Proven” by Beck’s Hybrids. The first, PureGrade^® Diamond 6-24-6 liquid fertilizer, earned the honor after providing a 3-year multi-location ROI of $12.78 per acre on corn. Diamond 6-24-6 is a 100% orthophosphate low-salt liquid fertilizer. Under stressful conditions, such as cold soil temperatures, the phosphorus is available once the roots are able to take up nutrients.

The second product, First Pass^® liquid fertilizer with MicroCarb^® micronutrient blend, provided a 3-year multi-location ROI of $9.19 per acre on soybeans. First Pass is an in-furrow starter fertilizer specifically formulated to maximize soybean yields. When combined with MicroCarb, an organic nutrient accelerator, the soybean starter product provides a combination of early-season nutrients with fulvic acid to improve nutrient availability, feed beneficial soil organisms, and increase soil organic matter.

What does "PFR Proven" mean?

According to Beck’s Hybrids, “If a product has been tested in PFR and found to provide annual yield gains and averages a positive ROI over a minimum of three years, that product will earn the status “PFR Proven”. These products will be marked with the PFR Proven stamp, and should be something to consider trying on your farm.”​
