Video: Weekly Crop Update August 21, 2019

Posted on August 21, 2019

In this week’s crop update, Agronomist Dave Dyson and Product Specialist Jessica Link discuss management of soybeans heading into the reproductive stages and scouting fields during corn pollination.

Soybean Management

  • Yield is being determined in the reproductive stages
  • It is essential to keep stress to a minimum, otherwise yield will be compromised
  • Apply OverPass® SF to maintain proper nutrition levels in the plant

Corn Pollination

  • Corn silks need to be a half inch or longer for pollination to occur
  • When scouting fields, be on the lookout for silk feeding insects
  • Apply OverPass® CF to maintain proper nutrition levels in the plant
